Last week we celebrated the 10th anniversary of RingCentral’s initial public offering around the world. To commemorate this significant milestone, I had the honor of joining our Executive Chairman and founder Vlad Shmunis, our new CEO Tarek Robbiati, and our executive leadership team as we proudly rang the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
RingCentral offices from around the world joined in on the celebration by also ringing bells, sipping champagne, and gathering together. The success of RingCentral is due to our relentless focus on customers and a collaborative mindset focused on innovation.
The ringing of the Closing Bell was a proud and exhilarating moment for me personally, as it enabled me to reflect upon where we had started, and how far we’ve come. Vlad Shmunis launched RingCentral with a single mission – to simplify business communications, shifting it away from the constraints of legacy on-premises technology to embracing cloud-based unified communications.
Today, we are a $2.2 billion company, and a leading provider of global enterprise cloud communications, video meetings, collaboration, and contact center solutions. The next big wave for cloud communications is AI, and this is a key area of focus where RingCentral will infuse AI across its portfolio and make communications more intelligent and productive for our customers.
RingCX is also a very important area of growth and where we see a lot of opportunity to provide a native and intelligent contact center solution for lower complexity use cases. We’re excited to extend the promise of RingSense AI into RingCX. So stay tuned and watch this space.
To learn more about all of the exciting new areas of opportunity and where RingCentral is headed, take a listen to Vlad and Tarek talk about these latest new additions to our portfolio. Both of them were featured this week on CNBC Jon Fortt’s show called Fortt Knox:
We pride ourselves on our unwavering commitment to our customers, and helping them to transform their businesses, and their industries. It has been an exciting journey so far.
Cheers to the next ten years!
