Highlights:
- RingCentral’s return to hybrid work inspires more end-of-year charitable activities
- These are the ways our global offices support their communities and make the holidays special
Gather and Give
At RingCentral, giving back to the community and volunteering has always been a central part of our culture. And while it was hard to participate in in-person charity drives during the pandemic, now that many of our offices are in full hybrid work mode, employees have taken the opportunity to gather together and give. From Paris to Manila to the San Francisco Bay Area, our offices generously support the communities around them with fundraising and volunteer work.

Interns Give Back
The week before Thanksgiving, our 32 Fall U.S. interns (RingTerns) took part in a virtual volunteer opportunity. Partnering with Goodera, the world’s largest virtual volunteering platform, and C.A.M.P. University, RingTerns created recipe cards with holiday meals for people with intellectual delays. C.A.M.P. (Can Achieve Maximum Potential) University is a nonprofit organization and day habilitation program based on the belief that special education graduates can and should continue staying active socially, mentally, and physically in order to reach their own maximum potential.
Manila Event Benefits Two Local Charities
In celebration of the holiday spirit, our Manila office hosted a talent contest featuring a theme of hope with prize money going to two local charities. The winning team was able to donate 70,000 pesos to Love Yourself, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting people living with HIV. Runners-up chose Virlanie Foundation to receive 50,000 pesos in support of their mission to care for disadvantaged children so every child has a better life. The festivities continued with a cameo appearance by Santa Claus (Jonathan Leaf) handing out gifts.
The Green Santa Claus
The Paris office participated in The Green Santa Claus project led by renowned French charity Le Secours Populaire. So that no one is forgotten, this year once again, the Green Santas of Secours Populaire 92 came to the aid of the legendary Red Santa Claus enabling children, young people, families and elderly or isolated people to celebrate Christmas and the New Year in dignity. Kudos to France’s RingCentral team as they managed to prepare 1,500 gift bags for the children. RingCentral volunteers also brought the kids and their families on a magical boat and zoo tour. On behalf of the entire RingCentral organization, we applaud them for giving their time and dedication in support of children and families in their community.
Toys, Toys and More Toys!
In offices all over the United States, RingCentral employees have given to local toy drives run by numerous organizations, ensuring that thousands of children will have a happier holiday season. Belmont employees contributed to the San Mateo Consolidated Firefighter’s Holiday Toy Drive, a principal supplier of toys to numerous charities in San Mateo County. RingCentral’s Denver office spread holiday joy by collecting toys in cooperation with Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. And our Charlotte employees collected gifts to donate to Bright Blessings, whose mission is to bring joy and hope to homeless and impoverished children. Thanks to all our employees who participated and gave so generously.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all!
