Highlights:

  • RingCentral’s giving spirit inspires international charitable activities
  • Here are the ways our global offices are supporting their communities and making the holidays special this year

Year-round global giving and volunteering continue to be a fundamental part of RingCentral’s culture. From Paris to Xiamen to the San Francisco Bay Area, our offices joyfully support the communities around them with generous donations and volunteer work, especially during the year-end holiday season. Take a look at the many ways our employees made the holidays special this year.

Asia events spread happiness

Our Manila office started a new initiative this holiday season called the Happy Box Project. Employees contributed items including canned goods, toiletries, and specialized food items. These thoughtful and uplifting packages were then distributed to bring joy and comfort to those who could use a little extra cheer this holiday season. RingCentral China celebrated the season of giving with their annual Thanksgiving Charity Fair on November 23rd and 24th in our Xiamen and Hangzhou offices. Employees donated winter clothing to a remote school in Yushu, China to make a difference in the lives of children in need.

The Green Santa Claus

Once again this year, the Paris office participated in The Green Santa Claus project led by renowned French charity Le Secours Populaire. The Green Santas of Secours Populaire 92 came to the aid of the legendary Red Santa Claus enabling children, young people, families, and elderly or isolated people to have a happy Christmas. France’s RingCentral team prepared 1,000 gift boxes for the children. RingCentral volunteers also organized a trip to a special circus performance for kids and their families. On behalf of the entire RingCentral organization, we applaud them for their continued dedication to supporting children and families in their community.

Santa’s helpers donate toys

It’s become an annual tradition for RingCentral employees in the United States to support local toy drives ensuring that thousands of children will have a happier holiday season.  This year Belmont employees contributed to the San Mateo Consolidated Firefighter’s Holiday Toy Drive, a principal supplier of toys to numerous charities in San Mateo County. Our newly opened Dallas office collected toys in coordination with Santa’s Heroes Annual Toy Drive. RingCentral’s Denver office spread holiday joy by collecting toys in cooperation with Kids Crossing, a foster care organization providing therapeutic care to children across Colorado. And for the second year in a row, our Charlotte employees sponsored the nonprofit Bright Blessings, whose mission is to bring joy and hope to homeless and impoverished children. Thanks to all our employees who participated and gave so generously.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all!
