“We really do believe culture is the path to innovation, and that commitment to culture starts at the top. ”
RingCentral earned awards in four major categories, including
- #5 Best CEO for Diversity

- #7 Best Leadership Team
- #3 Best Company for Career Growth
What it takes
Comparably Awards are based on anonymous ratings provided by employees about their workplaces in multiple categories on Comparably.com during a 12-month period. Rankings are determined based on a combination of questions in 20 core culture metrics, from compensation and career growth to leadership and work-life balance—providing a comprehensive look at what it’s really like to work at the companies Comparably surveys. Thousands of companies participate each year, including some of the most well-known names in technology.
Why culture matters
Culture is more than a buzzword at RingCentral. “We really do believe culture is the path to innovation, and that commitment to culture starts at the top,” said Chief Operating Officer Mo Katibeh. “(RingCentral CEO Vlad Shmunis) really believes attracting-and-retaining amazing female and diverse talent strengthens our company, and acts on it—so his awards are particularly well-deserved.”
In our own words
“It’s gratifying to earn the level of trust we have from our employees,” said Katibeh. “I’m always humbled by (Comparably) awards, because they’re not really from an outside organization, but from people on our own team who took the time to participate, and help strengthen the culture we’re building here.”
