Leading UK event organizer leverages RingCentral to deliver seamless events, enhancing engagement, improving client satisfaction, and expanding their reach around the globe.

A leading UK virtual event organizer

Frog Events, one of the UK’s top virtual event organizers, is renowned for its innovative approach to seamlessly connecting people through in-person, online, and hybrid events.  Founded by Franco de la Croix-Vaubois, the company boasts 25 years of industry experience and specializes in tailored event solutions. Based in Bath, England, Frog Events has produced over 500 events for major clients, including the Houses of Parliament, NHS, BBC, Barclays and large multinationals around the globe. With operations in six languages, they excel in managing events across global organizations and cultures. Their expertise and award-winning services—such as being named Enterprise Nation’s Top 50 Advisor of the Year for tech in events—make them a leader in the field.

Replicating in-person experiences online

When the pandemic hit, Frog Events needed a robust solution to transition from in-person to virtual events. Franco recalls the decision-making process: “I looked around the market, and the standout platform was definitely RingCentral. It did everything we needed to bring the audience together. A great all-rounder to cover a multitude of events, in a highly customisable way”

Choosing RingCentral as their virtual event platform was driven by its comprehensive features and ability to replicate in-person event dynamics. The platform provided all the key elements required for a successful event—a reception area to meet, main stages for keynotes and thought leadership, breakout sessions to share knowledge, networking options to connect, and expo areas to do business.

Franco adds, “RingCentral enabled us to replicate the experience of in-person events in a virtual setting, making it easy for our clients to see the parallels and embrace the technology. This seamless integration of digital elements into our events has been a game-changer.”

Maximizing audience engagement across platforms

At Frog Events, engaging the audience is paramount, whether the event is in-person, online, or hybrid. Franco highlights, “The main focus is always to engage the audience in a meaningful way. Prolonging the engagement and lifespan of the event also works really well, and RingCentral provides various ways to achieve this.”

Networking, a critical component of any successful event, is another area where RingCentral excels. “Networking was really mind-blowing with RingCentral,” Franco shares. “It worked brilliantly, offering the best networking option available. The platform also supports an expo area where businesses can interact and engage, similar to a real-life trade show.”

RingCentral’s engagement features further enhance the virtual event experience. “We use Slido and Miro for interactive audience engagement and Salesforce for marketing and sales integration. These integrations make our hybrid events dynamic and impactful. We also use gaming tools like Kahoot! for fun engagement activities, adding an extra layer of interaction,” says Franco.

The ability to engage the audience before, during, and after the event is a game-changer for Frog Events. “With RingCentral, we can engage the audience at every stage of the event. On-demand videos allow attendees to revisit talks or network, extending the life of the event and maximizing ROI,” Franco explains. “The platform’s intuitive design and ability to support repeated events help lower costs and increase value, in a way that is kind to the planet and cost effective.”

Achieving recognition from the UK Houses of Parliament

The transformative power of RingCentral’s platform did not go unnoticed, as Frog Events quickly became the preferred supplier for the UK Houses of Parliament across the Commonwealth—a testament to their outstanding delivery of virtual and hybrid event experiences.

Franco shares this pivotal moment: “RingCentral enabled so much for Frog Events and as a result, we quickly became the preferred supplier for the UK Houses of Parliament across the Commonwealth. They saw me demo the platform with an online festival that I ran. Seeing the experience there and the interaction and how easy the platform was to use, they asked for us to support them, and we became the preferred supplier across 56 nations to deliver that.”

This significant achievement highlights Frog Events’ ability to meet and exceed the high standards required by such a prestigious client. Franco continues, “It was really an effective platform to deliver what they needed, and we could help the clients deliver that for them.”

The future of Frog Events and RingCentral Events

As Frog Events evolves, their partnership with RingCentral remains at the core of their operations, supporting diverse events and fostering community. Franco explains, “We use RingCentral for small meetings, AGMs, town halls, big conferences, all hands events, and more. It’s about bringing the community together to share the client’s message.”

Reflecting on their journey with RingCentral, Franco shares,  “We pivoted four and a half years ago and now deliver events around the globe. Bringing amazing speakers and engaging audiences has truly blown my mind in how it has transformed the business and the work we do day to day.”

Looking ahead, Frog Events is ready to embrace the rise of hybrid events, which Franco sees as increasingly prevalent due to their cost, time efficiency and sustainability credentials. “Hybrid events allow us to adjust attendee numbers, saving costs on travel and accommodation, which is also kinder to the planet,” he explains.

Franco is particularly excited about the future possibilities with AI integration: “With AI, we expect even greater efficiencies and enhanced event experiences. RingCentral has transformed our business, and we are excited about the future of hybrid events.”
