Emissions reduction targets
As a multinational corporation, we strive to minimize the environmental impact of our operations and contribute to global carbon reduction through our virtual product offerings. We began our sustainability practice in 2019 and are continually evolving our strategy and efforts. 2022 was the first year where we have started to measure our UK operation's carbon emissions in line with PPN 06_21.
We are creating a carbon reduction plan that articulates our approach to environmental stewardship for our global operations. Where RingCentral doesn’t have operational control, such as with remote data centres or suppliers, we encourage our partners to adopt similar commitments.
In order to continue our progress toward achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
We project that carbon emissions will decrease over five years (from January 2023) to 31.79 tCO2e by 2027. This is a reduction of 9%.

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
RingCentral's sustainability practices include providing van pools, electric car charging stations, shuttles to our office from mass transit hubs, flexible work weeks, composting, recycling, and sustainable energy practices such as LED lights and motion sensors. We also have an environmentally focused employee resource group that organizes employee education sessions and volunteer events and encourages sustainable practices at the office and at home.
RingCentral is continuing to gather information about all its sustainability practices in order to finalize a comprehensive forward-looking sustainability plan, which we expect to complete in the near future.
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard1 and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
