Next week, Gartner holds the Australian leg of its seminal global event on the Gold Coast. Over three days, over a thousand CIOs and IT executives come together at Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo™ 2022 to discuss their most critical priorities, including talent, IT operating models, sustainability, geopolitical risk, cybersecurity, executive leadership, digital business acceleration, emerging technologies and more.

At this year’s event, IT executives from two of RingCentral’s Australian customers feature in the conference program.

Coincidentally, Gartner has just ranked RingCentral as the top solution from 14 vendors in four business use cases, so this is a great opportunity to see how RingCentral UCaaS and CCaaS have been deployed to great effect at two Australian businesses that have a very broad geographic spread and complex customer service operations.

On Monday 12 September at Symposium, Madhumita Mazumdar, General Manager Information & Communications Technology at Australia’s leading experiential travel group Journey Beyond shares the stage with our SVP of Worldwide Sales and Engineering Amir Hameed in a session that will explore case study deployments from our customers as well as show how CIOs can seize the moment and achieve superhero status within their organisations by clearing their collaboration roadblocks. It will also look at what’s next on the horizon for the future of communications and collaboration, and share lessons learned in overcoming challenges and tough decisions to drive for a best-in-class hybrid experience.

On Tuesday, Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs CIO John Bajan joins RingCentral APAC Regional Vice President Peter Hughes to examine how siloed UCaaS and CCaaS platforms can’t address the needs of organisations looking to develop truly effective hybrid work environments, and explore how tightly integrated UCaaS and CCaaS can help enterprises improve employee engagement and collaboration which can lead to more effective agent interactions and better customer outcomes.

RingCentral’s Enterprise Solutions Engineer Riyaz Mohammed brings it all together in an IT Expo stage session on the Wednesday exploring opportunities to integrate workflows and bring together your preferred communications platform with leading cloud solutions such as Salesforce, G Suite, Office 365 or Teams – and how your open platform solution can help your team get the most out of today’s AI offerings and unlock benefits across various lines of business.

The 2021 Gartner® Critical Capabilities for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide Report evaluated 14 companies in relation to nine critical capabilities and four use cases – Midsize Enterprise (100-999 users), Large and Multinational Organisations (>2000 users in multiple regions), UC with Integrated Contact Centre, and Mobility and Remote Working (supporting remote and “anywhere” workers).
