We are looking for a product marketing director who will help guide a team in the launch and promotion of services designed to solidify RingCentral’s reputation as the undisputed leader in value-added communication services. It is required that you possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy and be able to maintain – and continue building – both the reputation and credibility of the Company and its related products.
You must be able to communicate well across all functional areas of the company. You will collaborate with a product management counterpart to define product release and promotional requirements. You will work with marketing groups and develop go-to-market strategy, helping all to understand product positioning, key benefits and target customers. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for product offerings, working directly with the sales and support team and key customers (as necessary).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical promotional activities
- Specify marketing plans for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers, analysts and industry advisors
- Develop pricing, promotion and packaging strategies
- Translate market needs into clearly defined and detailed promotional plans
- Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute to plan and maintain schedule
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of software marketing/product management experience
- Knowledgeable in software and Internet technologies; experience in telecommunications a plus
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent is required; an MBA is highly desired
