From your online account
Simply click any underlined phone number in your online account and press the RingOut Hotkey, F6. The RingOut Call Controller Window opens.

From any online application, including Outlook
Highlight any onscreen number and press the RingOut Hotkey, F6. The RingOut Call Controller Window opens.

The two entry fields will be populated:
  • Number or name
The number you highlighted will be entered or, if it is in your RingCentral or Outlook Contacts, the individual’s name will appear
  • Current location
This is the telephone number you will use for the call. The number you selected in your RingOut setup will be here by default. You can select any other number from your RingCentral telephone number setup in the drop down box. You can also add a new number by clicking Telephone Number.
Just click Call to make the call. RingCentral will call you at your current location. When you answer, a voice prompt will say, “Hello, to connect this call, press 1.” When you do, RingCentral then dials the other number.

Depending on your setup, the number that appears on the recipient's caller ID will be the current number or your RingCentral main number. You may also choose to block your number from appearing on caller IDs.
